Mac App Store Download Greyed Out

I have used my macbook all by myself until now.

Mac app store download greyed out. To download free apps you need to tap get then tap install. To install paid apps from the app store you need to tap the price then tap buy. When folders or files showed greyed out on mac you cannot open it nor access the saved file.
